Questar® Polyester Film

Duraco FlexPack coats and converts all grades of PET film to meet customer specifications. Duraco FlexPack's Questar® polyester films can be designed to feature physical, mechanical, optical, thermal, electrical, and chemical properties, ensuring excellent results when utilized for many applications. 

Questar® PET films may be plain or treated on one or both sides with a range of treatment options:

     • Corona
     • Chemical
     • Anti-static
     • PVdC
     • UV

Questar® Metalized Polyester Film

Duraco FlexPack supplies metalized film to the flexible packaging industry, adding an aesthetic to films that is useful for many applications. Metalized film creates a barrier against oxygen, moisture, and other elements, ensuring products remain intact and preserved.

Metalized film options include:

  • Metalized on one side/Corona treated on the other side
  • Metalized one one side/Chemically treated on the other side
  • Metalized on one side/PVdC coated on the other side
  • Metalized on one side/Plain on the other side
  • Custom metalized tint level (range from fully opaque to light tint transparency)
  • Off-metalizer or converted to custom roll specifications

Questar® Coated Polyester Film

Duraco FlexPack's Questar® coated PET films represent a wide range of functional, tactile and visually appealing coatings. Duraco FlexPack coats all grades of PET and offers a number of coating and treatment options. Choose between one and two side coatings and treatments or combine coating on one side and treatment on the other.

Coated film offerings from Duraco FlexPack include:

 

     • Matte coating

Questar® Soft Touch Polyester Film

Duraco FlexPack’s premium Questar® Soft Touch top coatings (CP267 & CP367) provide a delicate, luxurious tactile feel when touched without compromising durability and strength. When laminated to a printed sheet, image colors remain strong and vibrant so that consumers can experience the perfect combination of soft tactile feel, excellent graphics, and dependable quality.

Questar® Soft Touch PET films offer many benefits, including:

  • Increased perceptions of product quality as a result of the soft tactile feel
  • Ultra-low gloss matte surface with excellent contact clarity when reverse printed

Customize Questar® Films

Duraco FlexPack converts and coats all grades of polyester film to meet customer specifications and supplies PET film in slit-to-width rolls, cut sheets, thicknesses ranging from 25 to 1400 gauge, and fabricated components.
